Tributes & Memories

Mummy, we found it difficult to write this. Watching, your wake keep, reality struck that it is real.

A Child and lover of God. Very committed to God, the Kingdom business and to Daddy, your darling husband. The love and oneness of you and Daddy, challenged us.

A lover of people. A giver per excellence. An encourager. Very humorous.
You were committed to helping, supporting people.
Even in the midst of the storm, you still showed us care and love.

We remember, when we couldn't get a particular baby food our daughter who was a baby then was eating, you sent someone all out looking for it, until it was found.
Even till recently you sent our daughter the cereal she loves to eat, and you never sent just a pack, but many packs. This you do every special program whenever we come.

You and Daddy came all the way to Korea (far east) to checked on us which greatly encouraged us and the work of God.

We can't say all.
How can we be able to write about the beautiful memories of you that spanned well over 2 decades?

Daddy, it is well with you, the Children and everyone of us. Please allow the Holy Spirit to do His work of comfort in and on you.
We take solace in God that it is good night, our dear Mummy Blessing Folashade Kalejaiye

Mummy, I will never forget the time spent with you in Warri, while you and Daddy K were posted to kick-start Region 23.

Your high sense of hospitality, straightforward nature, open-handed giving and warmth were highlights of your personality, which were evidently obvious in the period of your stay and left a lasting impression on all who worked with you at the time.

It was a great time serving together with you in the Lord's Vineyard, doing the King's Business.

I can never forget the last time we spent together, when I visited after the Convention.
We talked about so many memories, shared dreams and prayed together.

You are a mother indeed and I am grateful to God for knowing you and making our paths cross.đź’ž

You have just transitioned to the other side of eternity and we believe that by and by, we will all be together in the glorious Kingdom of Heaven, when this Earth wraps up.

You have fought a good fight, kept the faith and I believe your Crown đź‘‘ awaits you in Heaven, where there is no more pain or suffering.

I love you.

Tribute to Pastor Mrs. Blessing Kalejaiye
I write this tribute in memory of a woman whose strength, grace, and love profoundly touched all of us at the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Pastor Mrs. Blessing Kalejaiye was a true matriarch and an industrious woman whose legacy will forever be cherished.
Her time with us in Lagos Province 11 was both interesting and impactful. I fondly remember how we navigated the nooks and crannies of our axis of Lagos, stretching from Ajegunle to Badagry. She moved the monthly meetings of the AREA Pastors’ wives from one area to another, fostering unity and togetherness. She emphasized the importance of knowing each other better and building strong bonds between ourselves.
Mummy, it is indeed painful to say goodbye. Your memory will continue to inspire us, and your legacy will live on in our hearts. Keep resting in the bosom of the Lord until the resurrection morning.

Tribute to Mummy Kalejaye- Pastor Mrs. Blessing Kalejaye

Mama Kalejaye will be deeply missed. From the very first day my husband introduced me to her, she welcomed me wholeheartedly as a daughter. She and daddy traveled all the way from Lagos to stand with us at our wedding
and from that moment she became a constant presence in our journey.

She and daddy visited us severally in Malaysia and every visit was not just a joy but also a mission encounter that left a lasting impact. After my husband’s passing, her compassion toward my children and me only deepened. Each time she called, she would tenderly and emphatically mention all three children by name, a gesture of genuine love and care.

I cannot imagine going to Nigeria without seeing her; she always ensured that every request of mine was met with a mother’s devotion. I remember with tears the last time, when though unwell, she still pressed through her pain to remain that spiritual mother I could lean on.

The Lord, in His infinite wisdom, has chosen to call her home. We rest in the comfort that her legacy of faith and her labor of love will continue to speak for generations.
Sleep well, Mummy, until we meet again at the feet of Christ.

Tribute to a Special Spiritual Mother

With a heart full of gratitude and yet heavy with the pain of loss, we pay tribute to our beloved spiritual mother, who has gone to be with the Lord in eternal glory on 25th August, 2025.

God ordered and ordained our paths to cross with you and Daddy in the late 1990s at Bauchi, North 6 Headquarters. At that time, you related with us as family, not merely as church members, we were Youth Corps members then, to be precise. Your encouragement has played a major role in shaping who we are today under this great mission. We remain eternally grateful to God for your life.

You were more than just a mother in the faith to us, but you were also a pillar of love, care, and support. In times of joy and in seasons of challenge, you stood by my family, giving of yourself in the best way you could. Your prayers, counsel, encouragement, and quiet acts of kindness
were seeds sown into our lives that will continue to bear fruit for generations. Your love and sacrifices remain engraved in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing you are resting in His eternal glory.

Heaven has surely gained a precious soul, even though our hearts feel the emptiness of your absence. We rejoice that you are resting in the bosom of the Lord, free from pain and sorrow, and clothed in eternal peace.

Thank you, Maami, for being a light in our lives. Your legacy of faith, love, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Until we meet again in glory, we will hold on to the sweet memories and continue to walk in the path of Christ that you so faithfully showed us.

It's  hard to say goodbye to a woman who truly loved and cared for others without boundaries.

We pray for heavenly comfort to our Spiritual Daddy E A  Kalejaiye, all the family members, and  the entire RCCG Church.

Rest well, Maami - Pastor Mrs Folashade Blessing Kalejaiye.

With a heavy heart, we extend our deepest condolences to the entire family and the entire RCCG family on the passing of our beloved Mummy in the Lord.

Mummy’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She was a beacon of faith, love, and godly counsel to many. Though her absence leaves a void, we find the news unbelived in knowing she has gone to be with the Lord whom she faithfully served.

We pray that the Lord will comfort the family, strengthen the church, and grant us all the grace to carry forward the legacy of faith and love she embodied.

May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

With heartfelt sympathy,

*Tribute to My Beloved Mummy*

You will always be loved, Mummy!

There’s something special about Mondays for me. My grandmother passed on a Monday, and now Mummy too has gone to be with the Lord on a Monday. I believe it’s because God chooses to welcome very special angels into heaven on that day.

After a long season of illness, we said goodbye to an amazing woman of God—a devoted mother, grandmother, mentor, and prayer warrior. For 61 years on earth, she blessed countless lives and touched many hearts in the household of faith.

Mummy was a rare woman. If she loved you, you were truly blessed, because she loved deeply and genuinely. And if she wasn’t pleased, she didn’t pretend or hide her feelings. She was real, sincere, and authentic in all her ways. In her own unique way, she was a blessing to many.

I had the privilege of knowing and enjoying her love for 43 years of my life. We shared countless memories—both good and difficult ones—that I will always treasure. She played a very significant role in my journey, especially in drawing me closer to God. She also stood by me during my wedding, ensuring everything went well. That act of love and support remains unforgettable.

Though it is painful to say goodbye, I believe there is life beyond this life. Mummy used her time and strength to serve the Lord faithfully, leading many souls to Jesus. That gives me peace, because I am convinced she is in a better place now, free from pain and sorrow.

Till we meet again, rest on, “Olu My Mummy,” as Daddy fondly called you.

With love,
